17th Street is one of the closest commercial areas and has lots of places to eat.  They range from pickup food at the grocery store, to takeout places, to fast food, to small restaurants to larger sit-down restaurants.

Southeast side of 17th and Irvine:
Kean Coffee:  Comment - great coffee
Pizza Bakery: LD Pizza and sandwiches.  Takeout or limited seating.
Haute Cakes Caffe: BL

Ralph’s/CVS/Bank of America center at northeast corner of 17th and Irvine
Outdoor tables available.  All eateries are in a row on the Ralph’s side of the parking lot.
The Counter: LD Hamburgers - large and larger.  Indoor tables too.
Pickup Stix: LD Chinese fast food cooked to order.  Some indoor tables.
Zpizza: LD Yep it’s pizza.  You maybe expected tacos.  Comment - good pizza
Chronic Tacos: LD OK so here are the tacos.  Comment - good

Northwest corner of 17th and Irvine
Mama Mia: LD Italian/Greek fast food.  Indoor tables
Jimmy’s Burger Joint: LD. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and other sandwiches
Subway: BLD. Takeout and limited eat-n (seats about 10-15)
Saladworks: LD Closes at 6 on Sunday. Salads, sandwiches, soup.  Not a salad bar.  Seats about 25.
chixy natural: LD Takeout and limited eat-in (seats 15-20).  Chicken naturally.
Los Primos Mexican: LD  Takeout mostly,  little seating. Mexican quick-serve

Southwest corner of 17th and Irvine
La Cave: D Sit down restaraunt.  Steaks etc.

Beach Pit BBq:  LD  A few indoor tables, a few more outdoor tables.  Small parking lot.  As you drive towards the ocean on Tustin this will be on your left just past the Cat Clinic.
